Life as What Would It Be?
Some Musicians define life as a “musical instrument” and they are the instrumentalist. Their lives depend on how they play the instrument pleasantly.
Some Athletes define life as a “game” and they are the player. Their lives depend on how they rule and win the game.
Some Inventors define life as “nothing” because they make something out of nothing. Their lives depend on what they had made and on how it works.
Some Scientists define life as a “test” because nothings happened perfectly and they are the one who will discover the exact details. Their lives depend on trial and error and on how they will meet every change.
Some Artists define life as a “sketch” because nothing is permanent. They will paint their lives as how they want it to be.
Being in the driver seat of your life is a hard thing. Like writing your own story, swaying your own rhythm, playing your own game, inventing your own way, testing whatever you want and you will end up to a sketch. Starting again and again, satisfying your own self, following your ambition and still ended in nothing, knowing that nothing is permanent. Everything that you’ve seen is drawn in pencil and anytime can be erased.
Truly, it is tiring to drive your own life; there is no break or stop light it goes on and on. You cannot quit but you can decide who will be in the driver seat. If you’re tired, let the real Author of life wrote your story. Let Him play the instrument that signifies your life. Let Him be your coach in your every game. And let Him be your master, the source of wisdom. Because at the very first of your life, He is already the artist who draw His plans for you.
A child simply defines life as a “trust” knowing that there is One who knows what is better for him.
So now, how do you define your life?
